The Sacramento County Public Law Library offers a list of free downloadable legal forms that are appropriate for use in California.

The forms are listed by topic. The law library has included form wizards for some of their most popular forms—the wizard uses a questionnaire to help you complete the form. Most of thier forms are offered in both PDF and Word formats.

The Law Library also lists other resources for forms and legal self-help.

Gold Coast Transit’s “Late Night Safe Ride” program offers curb-to-curb service nightly at $2 one-way. It’s available to anyone over 16 who needs safe transportation within the GCT service area between 7pm and midnight. The program is geared towards people who work late at night.

The City of Ventura Police Department has created a voluntary registration program for at-risk persons. The program provides first responders with critical information in case of emergency and can help expedite the search for a missing loved one with special needs.

“At-risk dependents and families that may find this program helpful are those with a loved one with Autism, Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Down Syndrome, mental illness, blind or low vision, and developmental or intellectual disabilities.”

The program is only available within the City of Ventura.

The Camarillo Medical Supply Project provides durable medical equipment and home health care supplies to anyone in our community at no cost and without qualification requirements.

No appointment needed. Stop by anytime Monday through Friday 9 am to 4 pm. The supplies are available to borrow or keep.

They also accept donations of wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, canes, shower chairs, bedside commodes, bed pads, adult incontinence products, and more.

The County of Ventura’s Area Agency on Aging offers assistance in many different areas, but here we will highlight their Fall Prevention Program. The program includes a variety of evidence-based classes, including “Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance”. Keep an eye out for their Fall Prevention Forum as well.

This program is a collaboration between Sesame and the California Department of Public Health to support uninsured and underinsured individuals within the State of California who cannot connect with a healthcare provider within 24 hours of receiving a positive Covid test result or developing Covid symptoms.

This resource is here totally free if you need treatment and can’t get a doctor’s appointment regardless of your insurance status. Even though the program targets underinsured and not insured, anyone can acces this service, if needed.
